Advocacy
Advocating for our members as well as educating and informing consumers about quality hospice and palliative care is an important part of our organization. To this end we monitor and address significant legislative and regulatory activities that affect the end-of-life community and the delivery of quality care. We strive to keep our members informed about legislative issues and regulatory changes both at the State and Federal level through a variety of communications including our monthly e-newsletter and Member Updates. We also seek out opportunities to collaborate with other state organizations representing health care interests at the local, state, and national level.
