“Overcoming the Pain of Church Wounds!” Part 2.

We will again discuss how to  bring healing to patients who have been  hurt by churches or church people and helping them  find forgiveness for the church, pastor or other religious person. Many of our patients and their families, and  even chaplains have suffered from this. We need to know how to handle it when they say something to us as chaplains. Our job is to help bring healing so our patients can die in peace.

I think it would also be very pertinent to today's problems if we discuss ministering to patients and their families during this stressful time when many cannot see their loved ones in person. And of course we have patients that we are not allowed to see.

Lunch will be provided and I am sure that you will pick up some ideas not only that you can have for your own information but for your hospice organization as well. Our last meeting and talk was very insightful and meaningful. I think everyone enjoyed the meeting and especially getting together again in person.
